Mulled wine drinking at WebFart’s		The Run A festive Christmas run began at WebFart’s where we gathered on the lawn and wished each other a Merry Christmas and lots of good cheer by drinking copious amounts of mulled wine. A poor effort by most to wear red or green shirts (as announced on the website), but a few made up for it with santa hats and bells. With warm wine in our bellies the runners set off with running hare Warm&Fluffy on a point-to-point trail (i.e. hares were too idle to set any paper – but would you bother on Christmas morning, there were presents to open!?). Walkers ambled along with a limping WebFart. Such being the expertise and pre-planning of the hares, runners and walkers came together at each of the checks. To add to the festive occasion each of the checks included a bit of Christmas cheer in the form of cake, cookies, LBH’s famous ‘Bengali fries’ and a relaxing Baileys on the lawn of the BAGHA. After a final ‘dash’ from Banani to Gulshan the hash ended on Warm&Fluffy’s roof where a large bowl of egg-nog and a plate of mince-pies was produced. The Circle Having failed to take any notes and having forgotten most circle events due to an overindulgence in egg-nog, there is little to report on the circle. New runner Kam Lin was welcomed. LBH was handed his 525 certificate (get a life – really). There were down downs for everyone which promptly curdled the creamy egg-nog in our tummies. Eventually the egg-nog was finished and whilst others decided to revert to beer, the majority headed home to either lie down or start preparing Christmas dinner.
